Fe gwympir muriau Babylon fawr, [A]
Fe'i gwneir yn wastad gyda'r llawr:
Cydlawenhewch anwyliaid nef,
Duw a wrandawodd ar eich llef.
I lawr, i lawr i'r dialeddfor mawr, [B]
Hi gwymp, hi gwymp mewn mynyd awr:
Rhyw ddychrynadwy foddion fydd
i ddymchwel hon;
Ac mwyach bydd yn brudd ei bron:
O ddedwydd awr! tra mawr [C]
gorfoledd fydd,
Pan welir meibion Sion
oll yn rhydd;
Pryd hyn y dedwydd fyd ag uchel gân,
Ddadseinia foliant
y Gwaredwr glân.
Haleluia, Amen.
Daw'r byd yn un
i foli'r Ion,
Am fuddugoliaeth Crist
bydd son:
Gorchfygu wna,
caiff anghrist glwy',
Babel a syrth, ni chyfyd mwy,
Hi gwymp, ei seiliau'n crynu sydd,
A thost ddymchweliad
arni bydd:
Dadseinir hyn trwy'r
nef a'r llawr,
"Daeth dystryw llwyr
ar Babel fawr."
Neshau mae'r dydd i
ganu'r Anthem bêr
I Dduw a'r Oen gan
seintiau rif y sêr,
"Y ddraig sy'n rhwym,
fe ddaeth y Jubili,
Aeth Iesu'n frenin dros ein daear ni."
Haleluia, Amen.
Diferion y Cysegr 1807
gwelir: Daw'r byd yn un i foli'r Ion |
The walls of great Babylon shall fall,
It shall be seen level with the ground:
Rejoice together ye dear ones of heaven,
God has listened to your cry.
Down, down to the great sea of retribution,
She will fall, fall within a minute:
Some terrible means there will be
for this overthrow;
And thereafter sad will be her breast;
O happy hour! such great
rejoicing there shall be,
When the sons of Zion
shall all be seen free;
Then the happy world with a loud song,
Will echo the praise of
the holy Deliverer.
Hallelujah, Amen.
The world will come as one
to praise the Sovereign,
About the victory of Christ
will mention be made:
Overcome he shall,
the antichrist will get a wound,
Babel shall fall, no more will she rise,
She shall fall, her foundations are shaking,
And there will be a sore
overthrow upon her:
This is to be echoed throughout
heaven and the earth,
"Total destruction has come
upon great Babel."
Approaching is the day to
sing the sweet Anthem
To God and the Lamb by
saints as numerous as the stars,
"The dragon is bound,
the Jubilee has come,
Jesus has gone as king over our earth."
Hallelujah, Amen.
